Listed below are a few projects
TV and Radio GMD has performed in the recent past:
Designed and built, from the ground up, Houston's newest TV Station, KZJL TV 61. This project included installation of a Comark 95 Kilowatt transmitter, full Master Control facility, Microwave link, antenna, and waveguide transmission line. Then the entire facility was fully computer automated and currently runs with no operators.

This project started with a demolition of their older TV Production Facility built in the early 1980's. The facility was then re-designed from a 3-position console configuration into an ergonomically designed 1 person curved console. This large custom console now holds a non-linear editing system, 3 MII decks, 1 Betacam deck, 1 ¾ machine, 1 DVC Pro deck and 1 Hi-8 Deck. The facility also controls 4 cameras, 32 channels of audio, dubbing rack, Character Generator, and building-wide RF system.

Design, Construction, and Checkout of Houston's first all digital facility designed and built in 1995. The project consisted of designing, layout, construction, and alignment of this multi-format facility consisting of D5, Digital Betacam, BetacamSP, MII, SVHS, 1 inch, and ¾ tape formats.

Complete construction of a 5 million watt Trinity Broadcasting Network station. The project included installation of a water-cooled 120 Kilowatt transmitter, 1400-foot tower, Master Control facility, and Studio to Transmitter link.
This contract consisted of total engineering maintenance of this 3.7 million-watt station including 24-hour emergency response for transmitter, microwave, and satellite failures.
GMD Electronics is currently under contract with several TV and Radio Stations including:

This contract includes total engineering maintenance of this 5 million watt station. This includes 24-hour emergency response for any Comark transmitter failures. Also maintenance of their STL link ,Fiber Optic link and Diesel Backup Generator.

This contract includes total engineering maintenance of this 5 million watt station owned by DayStar Network and includes 24 hour emergency response for either studio or transmitter failures. Also maintenance of their STL link and Fiber Optic link to Time Warner Cable.

This contract includes total engineering maintenance of this 5 million watt station owned by Pappas Telecasting and includes 24 hour emergency response for either studio or transmitter failures. Also maintenance of their STL link and their two translator stations.

This contract includes total engineering maintenance of this 5 million watt station including 24 hour emergency response for either studio or transmitter failures. Also maintenance of their low power (LPTV) facility located at the 1500-foot level on the Senior Road tower in Missouri City, Texas
This contract included total engineering maintenance of this Low Power Television Station located on top of the tallest building in downtown Houston. It also included complete installation of a new transmitter and new antenna system.
This contract included total engineering maintenance of this Medium Power Television Station located at the 1500-foot level on a tower in Houston. It also included complete installation of a new grounding network.
This station calls on GMD whenever they have a major failure or major upgrade. Past work has included transmitter tuning, putting their translator low power station on the air, and general maintenance.
This contract includes total engineering maintenance of this Class C3 FM Radio Station including 24 hour emergency response for either studio or transmitter failures.
This monthly contract includes entire engineering support and maintenance of the Alvin Community College Radio station including 24-hour response, upgrades, and consultation.
This contract was to design and build a 14-camera color CCTV system for their 69th Street Water Treatment Plant completed.
