FleetASAP Messaging
With FleetASAP two-way text messaging, your dispatcher and your drivers are never out of touch. The dispatcher can send route changes or other instructions to any vehicle quickly and accurately. The easy-to-read message appears on the vehicle’s iDT 2500 data terminal within the driver’s range of vision, and a text message can be returned. The system can even leave messages for later viewing when the driver is not in the vehicle. The FleetASAP application has convenient two-way messaging providing many advantages:

FleetASAP Landmarks
The FleetASAP Landmarks option is an enhanced scheduling and reporting tool that enables FleetASAP users to post up to 2000 user-defined destinations and locations in the customized FleetASAP mapping database. Landmarks can be placed by landmark or by address, and are a convenient, easy way for fleet administrators to see an overview of their pre-set locations and vehicles at one glance.
The FleetASAP Landmarks feature option is an excellent tool for administrators looking to streamline their vehicle routing process while reducing wasted time, fuel costs and other expenses.
The FleetASAP Landmarks feature includes:
• Ability to locate 10 of the nearest vehicles to a defined address and/or landmark
• Ability to display vehicle name, direction and distance from the address and/or
landmark
• Storage of up to 2000 customer landmarks
• Batch file upload (for large entries of landmarks) up to three times a month
• User-definable range for triggering a customer landmark stop to be listed in an
activity report
